2011 Souvenir Festival Program is Out!

 

he festival program has now been released with 40 wonderful acts with over 130 artists from all over Australia.

There will 134 events from Friday afternoon through to the Finale and Final Party on Monday afternoon.

There are 10 venues in the Perisher Valley, Smiggin Holes and Guthega.

This festival includes A Celebration of Indigenous Music with performances and workshops from Christine Anu, Ganga Giri, The Stiff Gins and Jarmbi's Corrobboree. Thanks to the support of the Australian Government Indigenous Culture Support Program,

The Kids Stage has moved to the Ski Tube Terminal and is look fantastic again with puppets, instrument making, storytelling, dancing and concerts.

This year the Workshop program will be in the lower level of the Smiggins Hotel and has been dramatically increased with lots of jams, instrument and music learning workshops.

The final program will be published in the Souvenir Program which will be available for FREE from the Festival Office and venues from Thursday 9 June 2011.
